Born in Salto (Uruguay) in 1984, Leandro Marziotte begun his graduate musical studies in the field of Choral Conduction at the University of Salto. In 2003, he was admitted to the Music College of Uruguay´s Univeristy (EUM) having Sara Herrera and Federico García Vigil as teachers of the Conduction Department, and Cecilia Latorre as lyrical singing teacher and Maruja Fernández as drama teacher.
He was member of many musical groups as solo countertenor: Alauda Ensemble (sextet specialized in madrigal repertoire, vocal a capella), Choir of the Republic University, De Profundis Vocal and Instrumental Ensemble (specialized in the European and Latin-American baroque period), between others.
He was part of important opera productions as Henry Purcell’s “Dido & Aeneas” (Z.626), as The Sorcerer, produced by the National Orchestra, Choir and Ballet of Uruguay (SODRE); he also, with the National Orchestra and Choir, was soloist of the Ester Oratorio (BWV 249), the Cantata BWV 182 and the Alto Cantata BWV 54 of Johann Sebastian Bach, as well as the Nisi Dominus (RV 608) of Antonio Vivaldi. He had the role of The Page in the Montevideo’s Philharmonic Orchestra Production of Giuseppe Verdi’s Rigoletto.
He has studied and had Master Classes with the following Countertenors: Daniel Gloger (Germany), Martín Oro (Argentina-Switzerland), Sergio Pelacani (Argentina), Jeffrey Gall (United Stated), Agnus Davidson (United Kingdom) and Robert Expert (France)
In France since September 2007, he studies at the National Conservatoire of Strasbourg the pre-professional cycle, with Michéle Ledroit, Francois Kubler and Martin Gester. In 2009 he achieves the Signing Diploma (DEM) with the highest score: mention trés bien, with unanimity and the congratulations of the jury.
At the same time to the specialization cycle in the mentioned Conservatoire, he is improving his technique with Nicole Fallien at Paris, with the sponsorshipof the Uruguayan Fond for the Music (FONAM)
He is usually performing as soloist in France, under the conduction of Martin Gester, as well as with the Accroche Note Ensemble, the Camera Choir of Strasbourg and the Choir of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Strasbourg.

Né à Salto en Uruguay en 1984, Leandro Marziotte suit d’abord une formation en Direction de Choeur à l'Université de Salto. En 2003, il intègre l'Ecole Universitaire de Musique - EUM - dans la classe de Sara Herrera et Federico Garcia Vigil pour la direction de choeur et orchestre, ainsi que de Cecilia Latorre et Maruja Fernandez pour le chant lyrique et l'art scénique.
Il intègre le Conservatoire de Strasbourg en 2007, où il suit les enseignements déterminants de Martin Gester, Michèle Ledroit et Françoise Kubler . Il y obtient son diplôme en chant en avril 2009, qui lui est décerné avec la mention: Très bien à l’unanimité avec les félicitations du jury.
Il a participé à plusieurs productions en tant que soliste, notamment l'opéra Didon et Enée de Henry Purcell avec l'Orchestre National du Sodre dans le rôle de la Sorcière; il a également chanté avec ce même orchesrte dans les cantatesCessate, omai cessate et Amor, hai vinto ; le Nisi Dominus et le Strabat Mater d’Antonio Vivaldi ; l'Oratorio de Pâques ; la Cantate BWV 182 et les trois cantates pour alto solo et orchestre BWV 35, BWV 54 et BWV 170 de Johann Sebastian Bach. D'autre part, il a participé à une production deRigoletto de Giuseppe Verdi avec l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Montevideo dans le rôle du Page.
Il a enregistré différents disques, dont le Requiem de Tomas Luis de Victoria (pour 6 voix a capella) avec l'ensemble Alauda, un enregistrement de musique religieuse latino-américaine avec l'ensemble De Profundis. Récemment, il a participé à deux enregistrements avec l'ensemble Voix de Strass (un premier contenant des pièces de jeunes compositeurs pour voix a capella, et un second des chansons de Noël)
Il a suivi des cours et participé à des masterclass auprès de différents contre-ténors : Daniel Gloger (Allemagne), Martin Oro (Argentine - Suisse), Sergio Pelacani (Argentine), Jeffrey Gall (Etats - Unis), Agnus Davison (Angleterre) et Robert Expert (France).
En parallèle à ses études spécifiques en chant baroque, il perfectionne sa technique à Paris auprès de Nicole Fallien, grâce au soutien du FONAM (Fonds Nationaux pour la Musique de l'Uruguay).
Il se produit régulièrement en concert en tant que soliste avec l’Orchestre National de l'Uruguay Sodre, l’Orchestre Philharmonique de Montevideo, le Chœur de l’Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg, le duo Ave Lyra, les Ensembles De Profundis, Voix de Strass, Accroche Note et le Parlement de Musique.

Nacido en Salto (Uruguay) en 1984, Leandro Marziotte comienza su formación en Dirección de Coro en la Universidad de Salto. En el 2003 ingresa a la Escuela Universitaria de Música - EUM - teniendo como profesores a Sara Herrera y Federico García Vigil en el área de dirección, mientras que en el área de canto y arte escénico recibe clases de las profesoras Cecilia Latorre y Maruja Fernández.
Integró diferentes grupos como contratenor solista: Ensamble Alauda (sexteto madrigalista, vocal a capella), Coro de la Universidad de la Republica, Ensamble Vocal e Instrumental De Profundis (interpretación de la música barroca europea y latinoamericana), entre otros.
Participó en producciones de obras mayores como la ópera “Dido y Eneas” (Z.626) de Henry Purcell, producida por el SODRE, en el papel de Hechicera; también junto a la Orquesta Sinfónica del SODRE interpretó el Oratorio de Pascuas (BWV 249), la Cantata BWV 182 y la Cantata para Alto BWV 54 de Johann Sebastian Bach, así como el Nisi Dominus (RV 608) de Antonio Vivaldi. Asimismo participó en la ópera “Rigoletto” de Giuseppe Verdi con la Orquesta Filarmónica de Montevideo en el papel de Paje.
Ha estudiado y participado en clases magistrales con los siguientes contratenores: Daniel Gloger (Alemania), Martín Oro (Argentina-Suiza), Sergio Pelacani (Argentina), Jeffrey Gall (Estados Unidos), Agnus Davidson (Reino Unido) y Robert Expert (Francia).
En Francia, desde septiembre de 2007, realiza estudios de canto en el ciclo pre-profesional del Conservatorio Nacional de Estrasburgo, recibiendo cursos a cargo de Michèle Ledroit, Françoise Kubler y Martin Gester. En abril de 2009 obtiene su diploma de canto (DEM) decretado con mención: “très bien” por unanimidad, con felicitaciones del jurado, distinción raramente lograda en la citada institución.
Paralelamente al ciclo de especialización, perfecciona su técnica en París con la Mtra. Nicole Fallien, gracias a la ayuda del Fondo Nacional de Música del Uruguay (FONAM).
Se presenta regularmente en conciertos como solista en Francia, bajo la dirección de Martin Gester, así como con el Ensamble “Accroche Note”, el Coro de Cámara y el Coro de la Orquesta Filarmónica de Estrasburgo.
